F A Q

Do you accept insurance?

Here at P&T we do not accept insurance. However, we do take HSA and FSA cards and if your insurance offers reimbursement for out of network or alternative care we can create a superbill after your appointment for you to submit. At new patient visits we do take your insurance information incase we end up running blood labs as we try to go through insurance for those!

Do I need a new patient visit for B12 injections?

Nope! You do not need to be an existing patient to schedule an injection or IV appointment.

Do I need an IV consult before scheduling IV therapy?

Yes! The exception to this rule is to call and get cleared through a quick set of bypass questions. Either Tess or Dr. Colby will clear you from the initial consult if indicated. This visit is for people with preexisting health conditions, personal concerns, or do not pass the pre-screening questions.

How long is an IV appointment?

We schedule IVs for 90 minutes for your first visit and 60 minutes for then on but dripping takes between 45-90 mins. Your first IV will takemore time as we drip you cautiously to make sure you are comfortable and feeling good.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a strict 48 hour cancellation policy. All appointments must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being considered a late cancellation. Late cancellations will result in an automatic late cancel fee of 50% of the visit cost.

We also enforce a no show policy. Any appointments that are no showed, without call, voicemail or email will result in an automatic no show fee of 100% of your visit cost. We are a small but mighty doctors office and trying to fill appointments without notice is nearly impossible.

So, I no showed my appointment.. can I still be a patient?

Of course!! We would love to see you again and we understand that life happens! However, invoices need to be paid prior to getting back on the schedule.
